Things I would like to do this summer

1. Read way more...aiming for a book a week
2. See Kelly
3. Start doing yoga again, at least three times a week
4. Rearrange my room
5. Have girls night at least once a month
6. Possibly have a fantasia party for fun
7. Dance...Retro night here I come baby
8. Go on a trip
9. Ride a horse
10. Find my style
11. Walk the dog more
12. get my nose pierced (this so won't happen)
13. have regular date nights with Kurt
14. Learn how to play pool (I might as well)
15. Go to the beach...I didn't go once last summer
16. Have a dinner party....classy dinner party (ps your invited)
17. Learn to rollar blade.....again
18. get started on my thesis
19. Wear dresses...I have a ton but I never wear them
20. Plan my adventure to france...by the end of this summer it will be all arranged hopefully

I was going to make a list of all the things I wanted to do this summer, and the first thing that was on the list was to read more. I'm aiming for a book or so a week. I want to read good books.

So here's what I want you to do. Suggest me a book. Your favorite maybe, or one you think I would like. I'm looking for fiction (I could do a good biography aswell). I'm pretty much game for anything.

i'm looking forward to it you know. I;m doing my honours thesis, and I'm in the process of nailing down a supervisor. I have two interested. It's exicting you know. To have someone you is actually interested and invested in what you are doing. It's like being academically validated. They are inetersted in your work, in your achievements.

It's gonna be hard, but cool too.

I wish I got letters. I wish people sent me envelopes filled with what is going on with their lives. Tell me about their week. tell me about their favorite moment they had since last talking to me. Maybe a secret.

I mean I don't even get emails that aren't form my professors anymore.

What is it about a gay man that makes me so comfortable. I get a long so well with them. I have the most fun I ever have with them. and I laugh and laugh and laugh. I was so disapointed the boys weren't there last night. That's when I really have fun.

I know it's not all gay men. I guess we just have wonderful friends who attract wonderful people.

I miss my boy

I used to think she didn't like me. Not that she hated me, but just didn't really care for me. I was just around, and that's it. If I wasn't there I would be out of sit our of mind. With some people I wouldn't really care. So what. I did with her.

I had a good weekend...wait the weekend just started...well I had a good last couple of nights. I enjoy hanging out again. Talking to people you never get to talk to. Telling things about yourself. I like talking to strangers. Sometimes it's harder to keep the attention of your friends than it is strangers. I love asking people questions. I'm truly interested. They'll tell me things about themselves. I like it.

You ever sit somewhere and feel like you should be somewhere else?

i'll join the ban wagon and declare I can't wait for it to be done. One more paper and then 4 exams and I'm home free. Then I can spend 4 weeks at the NS! (working).

But I just can't get going on this paper. I just really don't want to do it at all.Any chance to procrastinate and I'm there. 10 page paper on women and violence.

There are so many different ways to spell my name. I've seen them all. Katelynn, Kaitlyn, Katelin and so on. I'm used to having my name spelt wrong. It's not big deal. I usually don't even correct people anymore

For some reason it grates on my last nerve. They are quickly met with the reply "K not C". I am not Caitlin. I am Kaitlin. For some reason I almost take it as an insult. I'm not sure why. All I know is that a "C" caitlin and a "K"kaitlin are very different people. I'm not saying that Caitlin's are bad people, they just aren't me.

And I mean com'on! If you want to shorten your name to Katie you have to change the first letter! no one spells is catie, you would pronounce it differently.

The dollar store always has CAITLIN toothbrushes, but never KAITLIN ones. The world is a cruel place
